Development and Donor Outreach

My team redesigned the end of year appeal letter, added digital outreach to the end of year giving strategy, implemented intentional segmented marketing, and launched a Giving Tuesday campaign for the first time in the organization’s history. We increased revenue from end of year giving by 153%.

Food Access Across the Appalachian Region

A larger video series project has taken me on a journey across the Appalachian region. This project began as a collaboration with the Appalachian Center for Economic Networks and the Central Appalachian Network and is meant to highlight the work of various nonprofits across the region working on getting fresh, healthy food to their communities.

Asset Management

I led the transition to new digital asset management programs with two different organizations, one through Photoshelter and one through Air. The transition involved evaluation of all current assets, adding metadata, and migrating assets into the new systems. New naming structures and organizational hierarchy were also developed in an effort to make the assets useful to all staff and partners and searchable to anyone.

Email Marketing

My teams have developed various newsletter publications. Keeping Bobcats Informed, pictured above, was developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to keep in touch with students as our residential campus transitioned to entirely remote learning. At Rural Action, the Rural Rambler keeps members and stakeholders informed of programming, resources, and other opportunities.
